Fairly clean venue with particularly good location in center of Amsterdam. Warm & cheap room with a safe, central heating and an electronic key card. Overall nice stay for 3 nights.

The breakfast was very very good with a lot of delicacies. The double room was well maintained and cheap.

The staff were quite helpful & polite, they could all speak English. The breakfast was fair.
This hotel was dirty, the walls could do with a coat of paint, the pillows were stained, the quilt had cigarette burns in it & the hotel was very noisy, doors slamming all through the night. The lift didn't work & you could smell cigarettes burning. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, it certainly wasn't worth what I paid.

The room did not match the one reserved. Entresol room, very little light, the window directly overlooking the outdoor steps we have lost nothing of input and output noise of the hotel or those of clients of the café terrace nearby. The laundry room accessible from the street was in the room next to the room again unbearable buzz in the morning at 6:30. No remote for the TV (the reception we were told it was used in another room and had to use the buttons on the TV). Light bulbs for reading lights by the bed did not work (reported at the reception, they have never been changed). No shower curtain, convenient to pee in the toilet since the "corner" shower. The discharge of water from the shower does doing very very slowly, the water overflowed into the room. No plans to hang and dry towels. Conclusion: Poor room for the price paid (89 € / day) was probably a maid's room ... the Armada had accustomed us to much better, we will not return more.

I really enjoyed my stay at this cozy hotel. the clean room offered a lovely canal view, and I loved being able to store my luggage before check-in. They had a nice common area with comfy seating and a chill TV area to unwind after exploring. The only downside was that the bathroom was a bit cramped, but it certainly didn’t take away from the great vibe! 😊

Large room for. 6 guests, but broken up a bit into small sections of attic.
Room needed paint and cleaning, but linens were fresh.
